Works absolutely fine with my hand guards,I have fitted a few sets now.The secret is,make sure everything fits spot on without glue, mark the correct position with a pencil and then apply the glue and fit the grip to the pencil mark then LEAVE THEM WHERE THEY ARE UNTIL THE GLUE HAS SET.

I thought as much, shady dealings in the smoke...

To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.

cheers suzukiste - ill head over that way and check them out, I drive through hyde every day to work.

I've had heated grips on every one of my bikes and had hanguards on all but 1 of them. No issues with fitment at all - their excuse was, and is bullshit.

recall was for an o-ring on the fuel pump apparently.

Bit of an update, after taking it back in it was promptly sorted.

Still not 100% happy with it though as the way they have positioned it means the cable now sits in front of the starter switch and I have to move the grip to press it. A minor issue.
The control box is on the right side and I would have preferred the left.

These above are issues that I can live with and to me are not worth letting them touch my bike again for.

Look at my cable, that's how it should be fitted. My cable doesn't obstruct the starter switch at all.

Yes, that is how it should be.  Not obscuring anything, not fouling on anything, not restricting the range of throttle movement. Mine is like that, with handguards also.

Your replies make it seem as though I don't already know this...
I'm well aware of how they're supposed to be fitted!
 :angry-tappingfoot:

At this point though, I can't tell if its incompetence or done on purpose to annoy me and like I said, I have no intention of letting them ever touch my bike again
