Hi,

I have opted for the oval stainless version. My bro howie8447 has the round stainless on his bike and they look really nice. Sound nice too.

Andy, I got the discount so thanks for that, paid £300 for the ovals.

Will let you know how I get on.

Hi,

Got my pipes today, well eventually.

They sent the worng ones, but by 3pm they had built me up a fresh set, as mine had been posted to an unsuspecting SV owner. The replacement pipes were hand delivered to me at meeting on my way home.

Now that's service!

Pipes are very good quality and look good (prefer the round ones if I am honest) but Hello choice made.

I cannot tell you the difference in bike, it actually revs! more like a big twin than a 250 commuter now.

Can't believe the change!

A set of pipes is definately a recommendation now, and these pipewerx pipes are as good as any (if not better) than any pipe I have ever bought.

Out of curiosity what kind of increase (if any) to insurance premiums are you blokes experiencing after fitting replacement ends cans.

I just spoke to my insurer about something else but said I was thinking about getting after-market cans, according to them as long as they're road legal it wouldn't affect the premium at all...

Now I'm trying to decide between Beowulf and the Pipewerx ones, think it might be the latter.

I've just fitted a set of Akrapovic cans and I've had the same somewhat surprising answer from Carole Nash (my insurer is Highways)- I.e. as long as they are road legal the premimum is unaffected. I also explained that I was intending to fit a Power Commander, apparently as long their isn't a performance gain then it falls withing the terms of the policy. I did tell them it had the potential to up the power very slightly but they seemed happy enough to note the changes on the policy without increasing the premium. A very sensible approach I think.

Hello, I'm new here - be kind.

I spoke to Ian @ Pipewerx last week and I'm going to get them to build me a can for my 2007 V-Strom 650. I'll let you know how it goes and stick a video up and that.

I know some people who've bought their stuff and it looks and sounds mega. And obviously a great price.
