Thanks pal - I appreciate the support and I hope you think its good value (or your money back!).

If you wish to place your order please contact shelly at shelly@cymarc.co.uk and she will sort it out for you.

Naturally it isn`t made yet and pending final thumbs up by Andy on the two strengthening flanges so please bear with me but you are first on the list and the very first one will go out to you.

I'd flip it around as well, so the nut is at the back

There is a captive nut at the front so the bolt has to come in from the back.

There is a captive not at the front so the bolt has to come in from the back.

Mate - take a look at this You Tube vid and let me know if it makes sense about the captive fastener................

We can just about understand you northerners but for gawds sake don't try using Americanisms, that is one step too far  :)

M6 x 25 hex head bolt, flat washer, and nylock nut is your friend here  :)

Can't find the photos I took when I fitted my R&G but the captive nut on the bottom mount comes off & you slide it onto the radiator itself on the rear then bolt through the guard, mount & rad from the front. The captive is on a u shaped springy mounting that can be opened a smidge to come off.

I think I also screwed a nylock onto the back of the guard to fill the gap between it and the mount as R&G don't mention moving the captive but this leaves the rad unsecured.

Flip that captive round, attach it to the bottom of the rad & you're far better mounted than that. He's using a thinner bolt to go through the nut.

£60 + P&P???

I'll take one. I'm not in a rush though. Bike is only going to be taken out on perfect days during the winter (so no change from summer really.... yeah, yeah, I know)

I'll get my details through to Shelly in due course.

If you're sending a carrier pigeon up to Scotland with one for Frankenstrom then stick another in the bag and I'll have one too.

£60 + pp seems fair to me  :thumb:

I'll contact the lass on pay day

Website is plus vat pal - carry on to the checkout and you will see it!

Personal preference I know but I'd rather see the client see the true price I charge for my work before the inevitable 20% is put on for the government, god bless them

Yes, the re-design is complete and the amendments are spot on.

The quality and fit is superb

A single fixing at the bottom and two ties at the top, the changes in this version make it a solid fit.
