Ask the dealer what they will do on any given service.
Some dealers will miss out things such as lubricating the suspension linkages to keep their prices low
Some will just replace the oil and filter
The folk on the front desk often have no idea what the serice departmant will do so talk to the service people.
This doesn't last forever, so do it while you can.

I'd go with the cheapest one. All the bike needs is an oil and filter change at that mileage.

OK after a lot of calling round :-
Official Suzuki 7500 includes inspection of air filter and spark plugs
Which is not needed IMHO
Hence why prices are so different
Some Suzuki dealers follow everything to the letter so check plugs and air filter @ 7500 hence more expensive approx £280
Some dealers do a annual service oil & filter and check which cost approx £150

When I asked about maintaining warranty , some dealers said that I needed to have spark plugs checked and air filter checked
Other dealers agreed with me and said it was nonsense and a annual service would be fine

Will be doing a annual service

Cheers Steve

Hi Steve
Brought my 1050 online / phone  from wigan motorcycles,  Chase superbikes is 4 miles from my door.
Well respected dealership never heard a bad report,  Simon is a racer and knows is stuff. I had my first service done there to get book  stamped @ less then 150 quid.
Cmc Cannock is across the road for a breakfast while you wait happy to meet you there for look at bikes.
Where are you based?  Watch out for f@#@@in camera van on a5 next to chase superbikes.

Hello
Thanks for the heads up and offer much appreciated
I'm about 30 miles away from Chase Superbike and have a couple of more local dealers (Kidderminster way)
I bought my dl1050 from Wigan motorcycles as great price on pre-reg I was going to get a 650 but got 1050 instead

Hope you are enjoying your 1050

Cheers Steve

Hello Steve
Remarkable coincidence I was at kiddie Suzuki yesterday for a ride  out and coffee. I brought my xsr700 from there and think Yamaha were very shortsighted in dropping them after all they had done for the brand.
I cannot comment on my strom yet as it only as 700 miles up I'm loving riding my SCR 950 scrambler at the moment which everyone who as never rode one knows is crap.
Got my strom phone / inline from Carlo at Wigan  £ 8500 black/white no daft spokes!
Xsr700 and SCR 950 @ kiddie.
