Well I do work for my self 5 days per week now instead of the 1, but it's the writing of software that pays the bills. Unfortunately the millions are way off at the moment.

Hello bigpie received the fuse box the other day and is now fitted with Cree foglights running off it, its great, delighted with it thanks again.

Hello bigpie...

I fitted one of your fuseboxes a few months back - at that point it was just powering my SatNav - and I carefully stashed away the extra connectors you provided, ready for when I'd be installing some heated grips. Which happened today.

And as you've guessed, I now have no idea where the spare connectors are, so need to source some replacements! I know bugger all about automotive electrics and don't know if yours are completely standard items - I found these online, are these right? As in, will they just connect to your existing male and female connectors and sleeves without me having to rewire everything? If not - what am I looking for?

Fitted mine today ... piece of cake apart from getting at the trigger (Brakelight) connection under the tank; like others, I'm blessed with shovels not little girlie hands!. But it's done, and the heated grips are working nicely. Auxiliary lighting's next on the agenda, and there are two "proper" feeds now available. Thanks, BigPie, for this useful and well-crafted item.

Hotbulb what have you used to fasten the fusebox to the battery tray? I was going to drill through the same place that's all

Following someone else's suggesting, having drilled a hole near the base of the tray for the cables to exit I cut, with a sharp knife (carefully!) a slit downfrom the edge to the hole. To fix the actual fuse/relay unit in place I used a small nut and bolt through another hole , and a couple of "penny" washer to close the slit - I may try plastic-welding the slit with a soldering iron later.

Not wanting to use up precious space in the underseat storage compartment, my BigPieAuxBox sits in the little space immediately in front of the bike's own fusebox, held loosely in position by a cable tie around both. Not ideal but works...!
