How ugly and how heavy ?
« on: July 20, 2024, 16:21:30 »
The new BMW 1300GSA pictures are out and it's a bit of a munter. I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder but it's ugly AF to me. From the odd lights, square tank to the pointy rear end it just looks wrong. I'm sure they'll sell loads, but it's 4kg heavier than my very heavy tiger 1200! There is an 'automatic' version too, but it's a manual with electronic actuators. Not much to go wrong there then...
It's pronounced 'twenty-one-twelve'

Yep it is very ugly....someone said worse than the Pan American but come on that has readto be the ugliest bike ever made.
Reading quite a few GS 1300 owners complaining of reliability issues.

I can't say I disagree, but they'll be queueing around the block for it.
I will not be in that queue or any other queue unless there's free money at the end of it.
Although in my limited experience, I can't afford free.

Oh! thank gawd, I thought you meant me.
This doesn't last forever, so do it while you can. Nothing travels faster than the speed of time.
