Being a newcomer to this parish it's the first time I've seen this thread, looks like you are doing a great job and looking forward to more.

A couple of years ago I had an itch for some 80's metal as I have a hole in my biking career that decade and for some reason ended up with a VF1000f, the big brother to yours. I only use it in the summer but it is great fun to ride, the way the V4 makes power is sublime. Hope you get to enjoy riding the 750 as much.
If you haven't already it may be worth joining the VF1000 forum, a few blokes on there have 750's and lots of things are similar.

They do say if you keep something long enough it comes back into fashion.

I think I saw David Silver in the local travel agents booking a world cruise...

Best of luck with it and it's looking good so far  :thumb:

Looking good mind  :thumb:

Oddly enough, I was in a bike shop just outside York on Friday looking at an 'as well as bike' (watch this space) and I found thay had just sold my former VF1000F (A111RRV)! I owned the bike in 2001 with about 24,000 miles on the clock and it's only up to 47,000 miles now. It's not quite as clean as it was when I had it but it's still looking good. I put the mudguard extender on, datatagged it and put two new original silencers on, courtesy of Dave Silver spares. It pulled like a train and I only got rid of it because an absolutely mint ZZR1100D4 became available. Great bike.
