We have passed 1900 members now, I wonder how long it will take to get to the 2k?

If you click on the 'members' link at the top of the page all that info is there. There are a number who have joined and never posted

Listing members by increasing numbers of posts, we have 22 pages of zero posters. Out of 77 pages worth of members, that's nearly 30% of listed members.

I'm cool about people joining and not posting (I'm hardly the most post-happy member here), but is there a way of deleting accounts of people who've registered but then never visited in the past year or so. If we kill off someone by mistake, they can always re-register.

A truer reflection on our member count is probably just over 70% of the 1900 odd registrations which is just over 1300.

I'll put my abacus away now....

And probably only 10% of the 1300 estimate are active members (some of us are active enough to cover the posting duties of 10+ people

I have considered having a cull but it has always fallen pretty low on my priority list

We could have a 'I'm a zero poster non-celebrity, get me out of here' type poll and the name we are most prejudiced against gets culled. It could be literally minutes of fun for the whole family...

Leave them alone, it doesn't matter - some people are just naturally quiet. They Read, they observe. But they get their fill.
