I've had some stuff from get gear online in the past and was quite happy.
It's very good to see a firm come online and explain their side and offer to put things right.
Well done!

Just what I need... another incentive to spend my hard earned (well, kind of) cash on motorcycle gear!! :) The motorcycle clothing industry's profits have probably doubled since I did my DAS!! Those b*stards at Getgeared are already to blame for stocking appealing gear on a website that makes ordering it very very easy! :)

This is quite refreshing, well done for taking the time to register here and then dealing with the complaint. Bonus points for then continuing with getting a forum discount in place, that's using a great opportunity :thumb:

In my opinion a company is measured by how they deal with complaints and this is the right way to do it

Android typed that! I was endevouring to type "great" and it decided to append "sauce" to the end. Don't ask, I can't begin to understand why autocomplete systems suck so badly.

I think it's an excellent word - let's see how often we can use it here over the next few months!

I wasn't going to say anything, but now that someone has....I just thought..... OK they're nice people, just smile and nod along and everything will be OK!  You seemed so content with your special word I didn't want to be the one to question it! ;-)

Medic - Have you had a chance to pop back in as yet?  :-)

Get Gear the Update.....

Think last week the wife and I must have gone into a different Get Gear store in Leatherhead, Surrey.
The staff in Get Gear today had no idea that I had had a problem last Sunday. Today we walked into the store started to look at items and within no more than 30 to 40 seconds a cheerful "good morning" and "if you need anything let us help you".
We took the young man up on the offer of help, not letting him know anything about last week and with in a few minutes he had made a sale for the store.
What a vast difference to the two visits last Saturday and last Sunday!
The store was as busy as last week, maybe had even more customers than last week but the staff today were on the ball.

And yes the discount code for the forum is on their system.

Ten out of ten this time for customer service, with a smile!

Thanks Medic!  Glad to hear that you had the experience we strive for this time around!  If you blokes need anything more feel free to PM us via this user account, we will continue to monitor the account, and hope to be able to do some more specific deals and discounts for you in the future :)

You should be able to set your preferences so that it emails you if you get a PM (if that helps?)
