Fitted the Scottoiler yesterday, took a bit longer than I thought, but it's on, and up and running OK. Just got to wait for some decent weather to go out on the bike to make sure it works 100%     :sunny: :sunny:
Well you can but hope can't you. :thumb:

Yup, my Scottoiler (dual injector) is now working :-)

I took some pics of where to tap off the vacuum on the 2017 1000, so msg me if you need the pointer as it certainly isn't where Scottoiler pics show you.
In my defence, she did leave me unsupervised.

Had Michelin Road 5 Trail rear tyre fitted. £146.

Went for 70 mile spin to rough it up a bit. Seems OK.

Got just shy of 9000 miles out of the Pilot Road 4 Trail - no motorways or long dual carriage ways just mainly twisty Welsh B roads.

See how this lasts.

I'm looking forward to how they compare with the pilot 4's, which I am happy with, though the trail version on the rear of the 1000 is a little soft in the centre on the 4, hence I go for the road version and find it lasts longer with no noticeable difference.

From chip forks I assume?
To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.

Fitted a GIVI Trekker skid plate - What a faff!!!  :angry-banghead:

Not a job ill ever do again without a Lift (although I said that when I fitted the HEED plate to my K5)

The Allen headed screws on the bottom were made from butter! Didn't even get to wrist tight before the heads sheared off  :dl_soapbox:

Literally I just came in from doing this task on my Veek, easy job, no issues and I tightened down those allens real good with a ring spanner the other side.

Must say, I don't think the Givi is going to survive hitting anything harder that dirt, those brackets are weedy. Still, it looks good :-)

Loaded it up and got it all ready for the drive to London in 4-5 inch snow.

Then got the call saying the conference I was attending was cancelled!  :dl_smiley_banghead: There goes the money I paid for the hotel!  :rain:

Today was Satnav bar day, it will take a Go Pro camera too.

Aluminium plate cut/drilled to fit the (raised) screen holes. 25mm aluminium bar fixed with ss nuts and bolts. Had fun!  :thumb:
So how's it going so far then?
