handguards

went to Suzuki dealer for some handguards for my DL1000 but was told they don't list them, any ideas

That is rubbish!!

Just had to replace mine and my local dealer got them for me!!

I think that they are about £30 or so. Not too sure.

They are listed, and I think your dealer is talking out of his backside.....

Terrible service, he either can't be arsed looking up the product number or can't be arsed using the Suzuki ordering system....if that's how bad they are for ordering I wouldn't be using them for bloody anything!!!!.

The 650 and 1000 handguards are different.

Mounting points and throttle/clutch cable clearances....I think. They have different part numbers, the 650 you can buy as a set, the 1000 you have to order each side.

On other Strom forums this mistake has been made, it usually involves a dremmel and a lot of messing to get right.
