Posting pics from my tablet?

Having trouble posting pics from Dropbox via tapatalk on my tablet. I paste the image link into the post but it shows a broken file !
What am I doing wrong?

You're using a tablet, that's what you are doing wrong.

I've tried to edit some posts (on a tablet) to fix the picture links. I can't get it to work on Dropbox. Use the PC ..

I've had moderate success pasting images via the ipad but I'm sure I had to write down the URL then input it via the keypad. Easier and quicker on the laptop me thinks..

Why use dropbox with Tapatalk. One benefit of using tapatalk is that you can post an image straight from the tablet/PC.
Only thing I can't do from an iPad is load an avatar!

Make sure the link starts http and not https if "S" remove from link

I thought you could only upload so many images from tapatalk and then once you've gone 'over quota' you need to pay? Am I wrong?

I've just checked, with a tapatalk you get 30 free image uploads, then if you want unlimited it's £1.50 which is probably worth it.

Even on forum where uploads are allowed I still prefer 'hosting' my images in Dropbox or on Picasa because that way I have better control on what gets shown where. If I wanted to delete an image I can do that in one place and it's removed from all forums and everywhere else I linked it.

I don't use Tapatalk, but if they are hosting your image, how much control do you have over it?
