Just fitted Pannier rails...
« on: December 03, 2011, 16:14:38 »
Decided to take advantage of the unusually dry December weather and fit the pannier rails that came with the bike (Cheers Lee)

Took bloody hours! Well, about 2 1/2 but the Givi top box rack is so fiddly to fit!

Anyway, all went back together and I went out for a ride and took these along the way...

Cheers

You've certainly got good front crash bars I must say! They are the best IMHO of the tubular types and those bars fitted to old blue hold particlular good memories for me! :-)

Of the various crash bars I've seen, the Givi's are my favourite looking ones, so was chuffed to hear they came with the bike. I think they compliment the look of the DL1000 perfectly, and also give me a bit of peace of mind as a new rider.

She certainly is in good hands, though not getting much use at the moment. Sitting tight under the cover waiting for a combination of sunshine and free time in my calendar. I didn't use her for about 10 days straight and was a bit skeptical as to if it'd start first time but sure enough, press of the button and the thunder began. Lovely jubbly...
