cheers, the clocks are great day and night easy to read and see, but like I have said before the high beam light on the dash is to bright at night. just done 340 miles on her, very comfortable and great fun to ride :)))  :)))

Good pictures, haven't been out as far as Pembroke for a few years..

well if ever you're down this way give us a call, always have a bed spare, my dad lives in thame so not far from you, next time we are down there on the bike (after xmas now me thinks) I will give you a shout and meet up if we can..

hi pete yes we was on that road, but on the way back the road was closed so hope no nasties happened on there. we ended up in hereford and it was a lovely day out, and great ride. :-)

thanks for all the comments, done 1700 miles now, and she is riding like a dream, yes it does show all gears plus neutrul on the clock, not found any faults apart from the main beam light on dahboard, in the dark the lights are very good though see far ahead. :lala:

What's your views/experience with the new 650 V-Strom screen then? Any good at keeping wind buffering? I'm 6' 1" tall, I wonder how good it would be with over six footers?

Is the standard screen adjustable?

I'm just over 6' too and it's reasonably OK. You can set it at 3 different heights (with an allen key).
