Hi,

I'm John.  I've just bought an 08 plate 1000.  I've always had trailie style bikes and ride off road a bit.  My wife has got into coming out with me a lot, and the DRZ400 was not an ideal bike.  I took a Vstrom for a test ride and loved it.  I picked up my new machine yesterday and it fits us both perfectly.  I insured the bike fo 5000 miles a year, I'm going to have to rethink that, I think it might be a bit more than that.

 I insured mine for 4000 for the first year, I've upped that to 8000 for year 2
