Ireland says hello
« on: November 11, 2008, 13:23:07 »
Hi all,

K4 650 with numerous upgrades now.  I see quite a few 650s now here in Ireland.  I live outside of Dublin & commute in every day, just coming up to 44,000 miles, 25K are mine.

Welcome to the forum, and I need to know, are the cows near or far away?

Never been to Ireland but it is on the list of places to go. My wifes been on a few rallies over there many moons ago. You ever come to the UK mainland?

About once a month to visit my father.  I was brought up in Kent but have been here for the last 13 years.  I was over on the Strom last year, Holyhead to Kent, via Welsh mountains.  Brilliant fun, fuel consumption took a hammering though, dropped to 40mpg from usual 55.

I'm from Sussex originally, lived in Hawkhurst in Kent for a few months and have family in Ashford. My 1000 has never given me more than 42 mpg, even when running it in and now I'm giving it a little extra its stayed the same!!

Bigger engine.  You've got to love Suzuki.  Cane it and it stays the same!
