@Rusty he blamed lockdown for the lack of use but he also said he wasn't planning on getting another bike.

The VX took me to the Copdock motorcycle show. Banged out- I've not seen it that crowded for a number of years. The forecast of rain did not come true and the sun shone quite nicely. Did not seem to be as many trade stands as usual but for £10 it was a very nice day out.

No. The gearbox is sweet as a nut and I don't want want a bike that decides to change up a gear mid corner just when I'm about to go down a gear as the road gets steeper.

I don't like it.

The 2021 Honda NC750XA has always on front indictors as a safety feature.

Following two friends today they both feel when my bike is partially obscured by another vehicle the always on indicators could be mis read as turn signal.

So far two cars have pulled out on me when I could clearly see the drivers were looking at me.

 What do you think?

The NC750 took me to Oulton Broad today and V-Bear came along for the ride. Maybe if he knew it was going to drizzle a bit he's have put his trousers on

I think the Africa Twin has the same feature, it certainly makes them visible. I never considered the possibility of someone catching a glance and assuming you were turning.

Rather worrying.
To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.

Thanks Ridaz that good to hear.  The rear indicators come on if I apply emergency stop pressure to the brakes ( I wonder if it is triggered by the ABS) Although I haven't tried it and even if I did I wouldn't know if and when it works.

The flashing hazards when I brake hard in my car don't seem to be triggered by wheel locking that the ABS would pick up, it's more like an accelerometer at work. It's a bit annoying as it triggers when I'm driving enthusiastically, but still well within the limits or brakes & tyres, as it makes it look like I'm panic braking or something.

I'd never heard of such a thing before and doubt many other people have either. I suspect that, like me, other people seeing it would just think it was a vehicle defect or some poncey gimmick from America that's been aded.

Time to trawl the forums (fora?) and wider web to see if it can be programmed out or bypassed? Harley indicators have  been always on for years, haven't they?
Apart from that  I actually quite like the idea.

None of my Harleys have had that. The odd ones I've seen with such have been after market pimped.
