2008 wee rectifier replacement
« on: March 03, 2024, 09:44:21 »
Long story short. The bike wasn't charging so checked the stator and rectifier. The rectifiers life had ended so plugged another one on and everything is perfect. Life was good at this point. Then it all went wrong. Please, in all that is holy how do I get the new one on! How do I thread those connectors back through that gap. This is the 2008 model with the rectifier placed on the front right hand side and it's got to the point where I am just sat staring at the wall. I am slowly....going....mad. Please is there a trick? a spell? I am willing to sacrifice a chicken.

Sorted. The chicken was the key.

Key?? Don't you mean Kiev?
This doesn't last forever, so do it while you can.

Did you push the cable through the gap or pullet?
