Just bought a pair of Richa 9904 winter gloves after an MCN poll put them in the top 10.
Excellent quality, good fit and after a 35 mile ride at -1/-2 degrees today I can say that my fingers were still warm.
Recommended.

I've had a few pairs of Richa's over the years and they have always delivered excellent value for money. I had a pair of waterproof gloves which were great for spring or autumn for over 8 years and they still had loads of life in them when I gave them to a friend who was desperate & broke.

I bought a pair of the Waterproof Racing model and they failed within the warranty period, so were replaced. The replacements had what I can only describe as spiral fingers: the index finger tip pad ended up around the side on both hands. They stayed waterproof and held together but had a bad habit of the lining sticking to damp fingers so they were relegated to winter use in the car for clearing snow, etc., where they still live some 9 or so years later.

I once had a pair of WSS gloves.

Fit was OK, lasted OK, but got a bit stinky so put them in the wash with the rest of my textiles and they fell apart.

I've washed loads of bikes gear and many pairs of gloves, but these are the only ones that were fine going in and ribbons of fake leather and plastic bits came out.

I've since bought a cheap pair of JTS biker wear gloves £25 quid and have lasted 3 tiles longer than the Richa, been washed loads and I later on bought a spare pair to make sure I don't have to go hunting when they finally need replacing.
The original ones have worn smooth on the palms and faded on the back of the hand, but still solid.

Highly recommended JTS weather gear.
Quite a few friends have bought gear from them and been happy.
