Who the hell comes up with these model names? Banshee? Cobra? They're tents, not air-to-air missiles!

True, but you'd like to think the name would give the impression of space or comfort, traits you would buy the product for. Instead you have a wailing, shrieking harbinger of doom and a biting, venomous snake. Neither gives the impression of a good night's sleep!

I'm sure they are good products Jacko. I just wish the marketing men would lay off the amphetamines!

Coleman Niceplace 2 and Vango Sweetdreams 300 do not shout 'manly adventurer' and would not sell. I want powerful images of daring exploits and conquering the wild when I put my tent up at a luxury campsite!

I always liked my Phoenix Phreedome as a name. Cracking tent too, I have been using it for 26 years, still waterproof, spacious enough for me and two Labradors, or me and the wife if I have to.
