[Traitor] Honda CBF 1000
« on: September 17, 2023, 19:55:02 »
So… Not much luck finding a VStrom that fitted what I needed on my terrible budget.

The ones I checked, where not there by the time I called, or I got weird vibes about the condition of the bike or the seller.

Staying with Japanese metal, was a must so my brother sent me a CBF and everything was absolutely perfect, from the expected condition of the bike, location and even the seller was a top bloke that kept adding value to the deal, like D lock, chain, panniers, and everything he could spare.

Even the colour was decent, and as much I need a adventure bike, this will have to do, until I have a budget that allows me to look for quality, over necessity.

You can't go wrong with the CB1000F, I know a few people that have had them and the only troubles they have had have been self-inflicted (mutton-fisted maintanance and poor wiring skills...). They will just run, and run, and run....
It's pronounced 'twenty-one-twelve'

FR22, it's a good choice of bike and it's the one that got away. I wish I still had it. It was a stonker. Welcome from Northumberland.

That is what I need... To never stop!

I have issues with reliability. I can be on the slowest car/bike, but needs to start on the button every time regardless...
