The twin spark model's (K7>) exhaust is different from the older K4-K6 Wee. Other than the catalytic converter I don't know what exactly is different. I've always wondered if the old model's exhaust might perhaps fit the new one, but never been able to find out if this is the case.

I would have said not. Price of a new Remus for 2006 model is a bit over 300 quid. For the 2007 and on, its over 500.

Main issue is the shape of the pipe going into the silencer which is round on the early models from just after the two pipes go into one.

Usually on the early models, the link pipe is a short bit of tube that is fitted after cutting the round section original silencer.

On the twin-spark models, the silencer shape is rather different so the replacement is a complete half system that retains only the short downpipes.
