2112 Thank you👍  it is a nice jacket I rode back in it when I picked the bike up in the afternoon it fits really well and feels good while riding 👍
And the sizing is really good 3xl is all I needed 🤣 ( my Richa jacket is a 10xl)

I have added pictures of the service sales invoice  and the service plan

I've triggered a memory from many years ago when I popped into the HD store in Las Vegas, claimed to be the largest HD dealership in the world. It was huge, so I don't doubt it. We were going to hire a Harley to visit the Hoover Dam but it was around 40c and just too hot, so A/C in the car won out. Anyhoo, whilst strolling around I picked up this 12xl leather jacket and couldn't believe how massive it was, easily around a 70" chest. I put it back down and this feller almost immediately picked it up, tried it on and was amazed it fit! He was about 7' tall and stocky, quite a sight as you could imagine. He was thrilled and went straight to the till to buy it. He rode off on a 1200 sportster which looked like a toy he was so huge!

I take it that's £106.00 + VAT per hour for labour.
That does sound a lot of money when you say it like that.
Although it sounds like they fitted a lot into the two hours and the consumables don't seem badly priced.

Sorry 2112 I had already sent a reply to the previous message  lol lol

Wow I bet that was a sight 😱
We were in Florida in 2017 and we went in to Orlando Harley Davidson ( not because I was a fan of Harley ) but I just wanted to have a look  lol
There was some huge bikers in there men and women.
We also went to a Harley dealers in Disney Springs I did sit on a few bikes and I also tried on a lovely leather jacket which fitted really well, but I didn’t buy it as I didn’t have a Harley Davidson  lol
So all I bought was a couple of Harley Davidson baseball caps  lol

lol No idea why that posted twice  lol

Upt North yes you are right £106.00 per hour + VAT is a lot of money especially for someone like me who is on minimum wage  :dl_smiley_banghead:

When I booked the service I did ask how much it would be and was told £330.00 plus anything the bike might need.

As we are down at the caravan for a couple of extra days. I went for a little ride this morning and stoped and took a picture at my favourite little church in Appledore Kent ( as I have done with all my other bikes) it is set out on the marshes there are always lots of sheep and this time of year lots of spring lambs to.

I got the Stone out today for the first time since 23rd October. Bloody hard push out of the garage was due to there being 12lb of air in the rear tyre and 21lb in the front. Oooops! out with the compressor and 29lb in each squeezed in as the bike ticked over and warmed up a bit. I fitted bar up and back risers and the round trip of 171 miles to Gt Yarmouth. was a good try-out. Positives were: it is more comfortable for my back and arms at low speed. Negatives were more wind blast and increased neck ache at 70 mph. Also my straighter back was jarred by the lumps and bumps of rough tarmac to a much greater degree than when I am lent slightly forward with a normal bar position. I think I'll remove the risers.

Thank you 👍
Yes maybe soon let’s all hope 🤞
Although it has been a nice day here today.   Cleaned the bike this morning and been doing the garden this afternoon.
Hopefully going for a ride tomorrow and popping in to see my brother in the home ( it’s his birthday tomorrow 73 but sadly he will not know it’s his birthday ☹️)
It gives it to be cloudy but dry tomorrow here.
Hope the weather improves soon up north for you all 🤞

XJ600 - After painting the centre stand I cannot get the retaining spring back on I think there must be a special tool for it.  So I've removed it again while I have bit of a think, a.k.a. a sulk. Then I went to the local bike shop and arranged an MOT for next Thursday.

When I'm replacing a centrestand spring I usually put one bolt in (the other side to the spring)then I attach the spring and pull the tang on the stand and line up the other hole......does that make sense? Helps if you have a helper.
