AI taking control?…..
The Doctor 46:
I haven't needed to buy heated grips from Sportsbikeshop, I had the dealer fit them to my last bike as part of the purchase and they were already fitted to my present bike when I bought it but, Sportsbikeshop is the cheapest for Oxford heated grips that I've seen. As said already, they are an excellent company to deal with. I've bought loads from a crash helmet to oil from them and never had a problem. :thumb:
I had these on my 650, very hot. https://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_prod/101830

It’s not SBS I’m having an issue with, gents……. It’s AI and it being thrust upon us whether we want it or not.🤷♂️
When I research anything I want to buy, I want to be able to read real reviews and not a story made up of a selection of reviews by AI.
That’s the only point I’m trying to make.👍
Upt North:
Phil, I get it.
But....
Just like Internet shopping, social media, motorcycle forums, this is progress.......apparently. Who'd have thought 20 years ago us motorcycle types would be sitting on a sofa chatting whilst sipping a good malt even though Counties, Countries and Continents seperate us.
AI will be superceded, improved, tweaked and altered along the way, it doesn't matter too much if we like it or not.
There's only one constant, change.
Phild:
Dam…… I missed out on the single malt! Maybe I’ll do that tonight.😁
Brockett:
Real reviews are just the opinions of sniveling sycophants who merely repeat the publicity blurb or permanently dissatisfied old gits like me who moan about everything. Yes there are lots of nice people adding their reviews, but let's me honest they are probably voters as well and see where that's got us. AI will note down every word you write on any forum, social media, and review. It will mark your card and control all incomming information and then convince you of anything they want to believe. Ha I hear you all say "not me I'll be the individual that can't be controlled." You think they won't have a plan for dealing with all the mavericks who boast about their individuality?
You know those identity questionnaires that ask:- Name of first school, First pet, Fathers first car, place of first foriegn holiday, favourite colour, favourite food, name or childhood best friend. etc. Yeah! they already know so much stuff eh? Oh! and by the way I expect all the posts in social media have been scooped up and run through the systems.
