It is actually a main stay of northern life,, mushy peas, fantastically healthy high fibre, protein packed and so tasty!!!! does go with deep fried battered cod but so much better with Ham Shank or Bacon ribs. Also fantastic with a Babbies yed n chips, or as a vegetable on a Sunday roast.. Of course you all know this really, but you southerners prefer jellied eels ....    Sorry for the stereotyping

Mushy peas are great unlike that curry sauce stuff that looks like baby poo.

This time last year 26th May was my 70th birthday. I went to North Wales for a few days. Went to the top of Snowdon for the second time, still saw nothing due to the mist. Then to UK's only down hill Alpine coaster at zip world Wales. With speeds up to 25mph. I have to admit the wife was faster than me down the track. Must be getting old.  :old:

You're now 71 and your wife looks about 25. I would expect her to go faster.  :thumb:

The wife says thanks for that remark. She's actually 10 years younger than me
She was faster as she didn't know how to use the brakes.
