Hello from north Shropshire (from long time lurker)

Hi there, after a few years lurking in the background I finally got a test ride on a V-strom 1050 on Tuesday with my wife as pillion and placed my order for a new bike on Friday afternoon 
I will be coming from a KTM 1290 Super Adventure, so will be saying goodbye to a bit of power, most of which I didn’t need.......
we were both impressed with the V-strom, although my wife did say it sounded boring, so a possible change of exhaust in the future 
I will be pleased to be getting back to Japanese reliability and will be asking various questions over the next few months, so be gentle with me
