Givi D3117ST on the v Strom 1050
« on: September 27, 2021, 10:47:08 »
This screen gets a rough press due to it being tall, which it is.  However, the shaping, width and quality are fine.  It also looks much better than a Givi Airflow.  I cut off just under 10cm from mine and this made all the difference, I also angled it back slightly with a half inch spacer on the two bottom bolts.

I also made a MRA type wing with the remaining top portion and spaced this a half inch from the main screen, parallel to it.  All my previous MRA and PUIG Touring screens with these "wings", I have placed parallel to the main screen and is a great addition to disturb the air as it passes over the screen and reduces buffeting by the time it hits the rider.

Bit of a faff I know and as I bought my D3117ST used for £50, though it was worth the risk - which has paid off.
