Hi,
I'm new to this forum and I'm seriously thinking about buying a VStrom 1000, most likely a used one.
Is there anything specific to look out for, besides the usual stuff (tyres, shocks, emulsified oil, etc ect). Do they make any funny noises that can be considered 'normal'? I ask this as my current ride is a Kawasaki GPz ;-)
I note that the cams on the 1000 are shaft driven, - is this known to cause problems or need adjusting etc?
