Still only nine of them registered. Not selling too well is it?

I still maintain it wasn't made for our market, why Suzuki have bothered with it here is beyond me..

I believe the engine in the new 250 is the same as the inazuma 250 and if it's the same build qaulity all around you won't see that many issues.
We maintain two inazuma's for a courier company which get abused daily , they both have over 30k on the clock and up until now all we done is servicing and change consumables with no issues up until now.
One has charging issues, we have discovered the stator has gone but I'm my opinion isn't bad compared to amount of abuse they receive so, if the new DL250 is built the same as the inazuma it won't be a bad little run around .  :thumb:

For the commute they must be good on fuel and low insurance, its the cost for a 250 seems high.

After 6 months with a demo on the road, the sales boys in work have just sold 3 in a week

We have another new member (assuming he completes stage 2 of the registration) - Welcome Bilco250.

There are 223 of them out there now.

I'm with Rich, wrong market and wrong engine. But am sure it's bullet transport for some - just too niche to shift numbers here. Looks kind of cool I will say.

I always wondered why they didn't use the SV400 the engine rather than the 250. That SV400 engine with 50 hp could have made a great little runner in the same frame and easily A2 able for euro markets..

If it has two wheels.. I'll ride it.

I've only just found this thread, can't understand why?
But I joined 10th January 2019, so there's now 3 of us, unless more have joined recently, one is in Turkey, Octave, is his handle.

there's nowt wrong with the DL250, "Baby Strom" it's a great little bike, does everything I need and more, I have done a bit of posting hereabouts since January, but what the Eck! :old:

I've got a GW250 Inazuma as a stablemate for my V-Strom 1000. Same engine and many other things I guess. I like it a lot :-)

I had one of those a couple of years ago, bought for my Dad to play on when he visited me.

Looked like it should be a decent little machine for nipping around town on but in reality it was just dreadful.

Does it share the same engine as a DL250 then?

Same engine with around 25hp :-) It makes my 1000 feel amazing! Also reminds me of little bikes and the fun I had on them many years ago, is brilliant for filtering compared to the 1000 with panniers and can top 90mpg :-)
