Another computer query

The clock on my laptop is 6 minutes fast.
I've never seen it to be incorrect before.
Is it about to die?

What should I do about it?

Thanks Ridaz. But.... I did the old switch off wait a few minutes and switch on again and it seems to have righted itself. Very curious.

Windows 10.   Over the last few days the PC has developed a stammer with everything taking forever.  Task Manager shows something called WMI Provider Host    is using between 17% and 28% of CPU alternating every  2 seconds. Power usage is shown as 'very high. I have Googled it and sort of know what it does and have found many many PC users complaining of the same fault without being able to find a ' safe cure'. So far the fixes offered date back to 2013 and are shown by "Malwarebytes" to be "trojans and are shut out. I suspect the fault is so widespread that naughty people are pretending to offer a fix while instead inserting a program that "pulls your pants down".

Has anyone else had this problem and how did you fix it?

The recommended fix for this is to restart Windows Management Instrumentation which located in the services section ( services.msc).
However when the restart option is selected there is a message that the action is not possible. Avira antivirus and Malwarebytes  are programs that I have installed and these are somehow locked into the WMI Host process alond with a system program ( IP Helper) .
I uninstalled Avira and Malwarebytes one at a time and tried for WMI reset. No change but it did allow me to restart  Windows Management Instrumentation and then restart the PC When I restarted the PC the problem was gone.
However I now have no Antivirus or Malware removal tool.
I am thinking that the WMI was acting up after a microsoft update and the other two programs were not the issue but were preventing  the recommended fix ie. restart of the WMI . I will try to reiinstall the Avira antivirus and see what happens.

I have 3 instances of WMI running: one of which is 32 bit. Only one shows using any CPU resources at about 0.1 - 0.2%, and there's 22MB RAM over all 3. I got rid of Malwarebytes a little while back as it conflicted with something else, probably my Kaspersky have.

Windows 10 Home 1809: up to date, but I haven't installed the 1909 'features update'.
Seems pearl asbo orange is faster after all....
