Dunlop Roadsmart 3    on my second pair ,no punctures like my previous PR4/5 and last much longer.
At my speed ( no slouch but no Rossi) I can't tell the difference from the Michelins

Just ordered a pair of Bridgestone A40 for £115 from M&P's.
Had them a few years back, great tyres wet or dry.
Currently on the older Metzler Tourance (not exp, nxt) that have preformed well, but I've found the front wears almost as fast as the rear.
So in the spring the A40's will go on.

But are these not more for pure road riding? With our adventure style bikes, we also want a little gravel grip at least, right?

90% of the bikes owned on here are lucky to see a gravel driveway, let alone actual dirt roads, hence most suggest purely road tyres. People buy them as they're more comfortable to ride than crotch rockets, as well as being a bit fashionable now.
The OP didn't say they'd get the bike dirty so got the stock street only answers.

Maybe something like Anakee adventure would be good if you're doing some gravel type roads. I was tempted by them.

Me - I mostly run on paved roads. But... on some occasions, it happens that I hit gravel, sand, mud. So some kind of offroad possibillity would be nice in my case (but I am not OP).
