Just used these http://www.kettlesboiled.co.uk/ (http://www.kettlesboiled.co.uk/) they supply all your tea, coffee, sugar all in sachets. Great for a weekends camping and saves the faff/space of taking it all in containers.
Ordered sunday evening and on my doorstep this morning, perfect :)

I like to use a Jetboil and the army ration pack brew kit.
-
Army ration packs ..... Dodgy tea dunked with AB biscuits :-x
-
AB biscuits?? I only know biscuits - brown and biscuits - fruit.
Those, and oatmeal blocks, the food of the gods.
And some really fekkin dodgy pate.
-
They were Biscuits Brown but had lettering AB after the name Commonly known as Anal Blockers.
Processed Cheese and Babies heads Mmmmmmm
-
A.B. - Alternative to Bread. A softy version of hard tack which came in a big square tin with a round lid - go figure. Spread with marg, greengage jam and a slice of cheese processed - heavenly. :-x
Tubes of condensed milk, remove lid, pierce top, insert in mouth, suck and squeeze - delightful. :-x
-
Babies heads and cheese processed I've had.
Also, there was a chocolate cake too that was good. The fruit cake I tried was like vomit in a tin.

Just loved the way this thread turned into ration pack nostalgia!
I'd kill for Corned Beef Hash (with Tabasco) :thumb:
-
Not ex forces but the very last time I ate Spangles was as part of a ration pack.
What a strange thing to remember.....
