bike pulling trailer.
« on: June 29, 2013, 17:09:00 »
Does anyone use a trailer, pulled by a v strom 1000?

Just curious as to what they look like, if there's such a thing.

My mate bought one for his triumph tiger, and seems to do the job OK, going to the farm yard party.

It cost him, ahem, £2400, which I thought was ludicrous.

He travels all over europe, and feels that this will benefit him greatly.

cheers in advance

alex.

Not with my Wee, but with my Wing (past and present) towed thousands of miles never any issues.

Partly just saying this for the devilment of winding up anyone who rides a Goldwing... :)

But, at a certain point isn't it just easier to take the car?

Keith Cross pulls one with his Wee, send him a PM, he can tell you anything you need to know. He gets the frames made to fit somewhere rather than buying it and same with the trailers. Should work out a lot cheaper than trying to buy something premade.

NO, cos I can still filter and once the camp site is reached and trailer dropped,  :lala:

Oh and of cause the misses doesn't moan about having to crawl into a tent on her hands and knees and not having enough clothes

Yes, it's very easy for us single folk, who don't have pillion's hair straighteners, wardrobe, etc to think about, to mock trailer towing bikers. And mocking them helps distract us from our lonely, single existence... So it's all good! :)

I always fancied one of these for my old cruiser until I saw the price...

Figured it would be cheaper for the missus to take the car as well or tow the bike?
