Giannelli Exhausts any good?

Hi blokes,

As I would like to listen more to the tunes of my engine I have decided to get an aftermarket can.
Anyway I have been offered a slip on exhaust from Giannelli for €280 including fitting and welding.

Does anybody know this brand? Any thoughts?

Hm noisy is good but scooter noise....I d prefer the Harley sound:)

The scooter exhausts are good quality, why not go for something that is a known brand?

Giannelli used to be the alternative two stroke exhaust in the late '70's and early '80's if you didn't want an Allspeed or Micron system.
Covered almost every bike, if a customer came in and Allspeed or Micron didn't make one for a particular model almost certainly Giannelli would. Haven't heard of them for years but then I left the bike trade in 1985!

I've got a full stainless GPR system coming up for sale off my 2013 650 shortly if you're interested in that. Getting a spangly new one from Delkivic for helping them develop an exhaust for the bike.

Giannelli are now owned by Arrow.  I have one fitted to my 2016 BMW R1200GSA and the fit and finish are every bit as good as Arrow.  The hanger is fixed to the can as is the link pipe, not the cheaper strap.  IMO, they represent the best VFM aftermarket can, being better quality at a low cost bracket (such as Fuel / Black Widow / etc)

Bloody hell, that's a make from the past! I always remember my mates brother having an RD125 l/c fitted with one of those. You could hear him from a quarter of a mile away...

A "slip on" that needs welding doesn't sound much like any kind of slip on that I'd want to use.

You won't get a "Harley sound" as you put it from a DL650.

Unless you run a separate pipe from each cylinder, but then it will just sound terrible and people will offer you work clearing flooded ditches. :)
