Keis Heated Glove Liners

Last year I bought a pair of Keis heated glove liners from the Sportsbikeshop returns / seconds listing on a well knows auction site.

I tried them once or twice, but the phaff of plugging stuff in and having cables running through the jacket saw me ending up just putting ordinary liners in my gloves and getting cold hands.

Last Thursday, I rode down to meet a friend near Dawlish, Devon.

It's about an hour and a bit straight down the M5 and temperatures were set to be about 7 to 9 degrees, so I stuck some silk liners on, my big winter Richa gloves and off I went. Needless to say the 30 MPH crosswinds all the way down the M5 brought the chill factor down and by the time I got to my destination, I could not feel my hands.

The return journey was across country, not quite as across country as planned at the A396 is currently closed. But before setting off, I wired up and plugged in the Keis liners.

All I can say is that they absolutely work!

I was told last year by another user that you don't actually feel any heat and there is no controller to turn the heat up and down, you just put them on, plug them in and they keep your hands at normal temperature... in short, you just don't get cold.

They are a little bulky and took a bit of a wiggle to fit inside my winter gloves, but once on I was easily able to work all the controls and my fingers didn't feel squished.

So, a big (warm) thumbs up from me on the Keis gloves. Well worth cabling yourself up for.

I've been using Keis heated inner gloves for several years now and you certainly notice when your NOT using them.

I wear mine under my old Hein Gericke two fingered gloves.

I ought to try mine again. Bought them years ago but stopped using them as they felt really tight inside my gloves and caused a heat blister in between my fingers. Will give it another try  :thumb:

I bought some.
The cables from my heated jacket sleeves are too short and I cannot actually get them on and plug them in. Grrrrr!

Deb has found the same thing wearing hers. She bought them a couple of years back now & on the first test ride she thought they weren't working. She unplugged & re-plugged in & on the return journey she still didn't think they were working. Then we stopped for a coffee on the way back & I asked her to just remove the outer gloves so I could feel her hands, they were a lot warmer than mine! She didn't plug them in for the last bit of the trip home & realised that they were working previously.
It is correct they don't get hot/warm but just stop you from getting cold.
I ordered some for myself from the sportsbikeshop back in August but after many emails apologising for the delay they eventually said they wouldn't be having any more of the 'old' version in. They expect a 'new' version out for next winter?

PS, I ordered the small size, the other sizes may still be available.
