DL250 Owner or Workshop manual
« on: February 13, 2021, 21:01:51 »
Hello,

I would like to ask if anyone has an owners ( or better a workshop manual) for a 2017/8 DL250.  I like to do some routine maintenance to my bike like chain slack adjustments etc.. and would like to know for example the torque settings of the front axle and rear axle nut. But I can't seem to find a manual available anywhere on the internet.   I would appreciate some help, please!

Thanks

Go to Inazuma 250 forum, as they are virtually the same bike, and download their manual. Hope this helps.

OK thanks will do.  So basically they have the same engine and frame? I can take any torque settings from the GW250 service manual?

Yes,  same engine just different cam profiles I believe, and a near identical frame,  just different body work, handlebars and seat. The inazuma is a good form of information,  the engine is easy to work on and saves garage bills. If you read comments on that forum it shows what a good bike it is.

I'm still on the hunt for the DL250 OR DL250A workshop manual yes there are elements that are similar but the DL250 is later and has some differences not to mention the diagnostic data, wiring diagrams and so on and only option so far is paying Suzuki a couple of hundred quid  :icon_no: I see a tutorial online to do the valve clearances and that a DL250 service manual was used. if one could be found would be good to share with the group

I had to pay a princely sum but now have the DL250/a Genuine workshop manual CD as its not available anywhere online and plenty of links come to a dead end. can see why its not in pdf and is interactive pc only version with all the wiring diagrams and ECU & ABS fault codes and fault finding data - apart form the the engine itself most looks different to the gw250 inazuma I might add

Suzuki uk said I was not able to buy a copy (dealership info only) ###  :angry-banghead: but an acquaintance tracked down the genuine Suzuki dealer issue order number as dealerships have to buy them so I'm told? tracked down a copy in germany (only stock showing in europe apparently?) via a local Suzuki parts retailer and ordered it.
