Chris Hill -> chill, which is quite often already gone so adding the suffix gbr tends to make it unique but a little sad and lame. I'm not hot on remembering user names.

I needed a unique name some years ago (sensing a theme here...)

Aber = Aberdeen - where I lived at the time (and where I am now at work, typing this...)
col = Col, my name.

Not rocket science, but easy to remember. Not used by anyone else so far, so its easy for me to use for everything...

One of my favourite film characters, I use it on all the forums I join, so much so that people tend to call me Cat & not by my real name

I made the mistake of getting my son to set up my Ebay account many years ago - He picked dogpuf of all things. I think it was a cartoon character

It stuck and so I kept it and used it on all the Fora I join
C'mon spring I want to get riding

Mine was from moving from playing rugby to football (age and injuries) and at first I was going in to tackles a little hard and earned the nickname Chopper. As I mellowed and judged my tackles better they moved me to Choppsie which stuck

When I was a nipper I has a den at the top of a tree. I used to climb as high as I could and swing from side to side till I could jump to the next tree for a dare. Always up a tree me, so my mates called me squirrel at the time. Civ is short for Civil (my surname) and got tagged on cos someone else had got 'Squirrel' when I first tried to pick the username.

Still like a good tree, but not so brave any more.

Ahem!..... Rascaltrousers. Well it's not what you think actually. When I was married to my second wife and before we had our daughter, I bought a small cute looking teddy bear at a car boot sale and just to amuse her it started to talk. Mum knitted him a watching waistcoat hat and trousers. Vincent is his real name (after my middle name which I have because my dad used to ride a vincent rapide motorcycle) but the bear was very rude and naughty and was always being a rascal so his nickname became rascaltrousers. The wife used to say he was my alter ego and because we share a name I decided to use it for my email address and now I use it for all the forums I go on as well. The wife has fucked off now but the bear is still with me he still talks to me and he's still just as badly behaved. And yes....I possible am mad :lala:

Well I used Vstrom in a lot of my user names because no one else used it (especially on the gliding club forums I'm on, and youtube, etc.)  then I came on here and thought I needed something a little more unique.  I came up with glider65 the 65 being my year of birth.  As soon as I had chosen it I regretted it, as I never say how old I am on forums and indeed had my year of birth as 63 for 3 months on here, until I decided I was being paranoid, and changed my profile.  So yes, I am 46, and apart from riding a Vstrom I am also learning to glide.  You can find me on youtube as Vstromk.  I have other usernames but I'm hard pressed to remember them all.  When my secure password remembering system went belly up when my hard disk crashed, I've simplified down.
