Will it work?
« on: February 17, 2013, 08:51:29 »
Hi all
I own a 2011 Wee, pretty much the last of the old guard before Suzuki bought out the new model. I've been tinkering with the idea of a new Exhaust for a while now and have made my mind up to take the plunge....
I went to the MCN Motorcycle Live show down at the Excel in London yesterday and ended up at the Scorpion stand where after explaining what bike I had & what year etc bought a nice Carbon Fibre Job.

It's worth pointing out I'm not mechanically gifted (sadly) but upon returning to my bike I looked at my standard exhaust set up and thought back to the installation instruction drawing he showed me on the stand. I looked it up again when I got home and It says on that drawing its for an '04 - '06? So I'm a little miffed to whether it will actually work or not?

Any input would be gratefully welcomed for this technically challenged Strom owner  :fix:

This is the URL to the installation instructions and what you get in the kit....

Unfortunately this won't fit your bike. You've been sold one for an 04-06 bike. The exhausts changed in 07 with the addition of a lambda sensor.

Yes I think the GPR is the cheapest option , I have one on mine and its very good . Takes about a hour to fit .

Yes you have a right to your money back if you told them the model year of bike ! and they sold you the wrong exhaust !

I also have gpr stainless and it is very good. Top quality, good price and easy to fit. I got two baffles with mine so I can choose how loud I want it to be

you can get a GPR Tri-oval stainless for £259:00.  I keep toying with the idea of getting one, by the time I make my mind up they will have gone up in price.
