windjammer 2
« on: January 30, 2016, 18:00:18 »
Hi All,

Just come back from a ride after fitting a windjammer to my helmet.  I currently have an HJC IS17 and find it very comfortable but I was getting a bit of a draft at the back of the head.  The problem area was as small gap where the back of the cheek pad and back of the helmet meet.  Fitting the windjammer has solved this problem and the helmet is now draft free.  I don't think the helmet is any more quiet with the windjammer, but I use ear plugs anyway.  The only downside so far is that my internal visor steams up a little more than before with the main visor shut, but the main visor is OK as I have a pinlock fitted. All in all £12 well spent.
