Shout out to @bigpie for supplying this in good time.

A word of caution though to anyone fitting this to an 09 650 (not up on my strom models but this will apply to anyone with one around the same age as mine)

I don't condone child labour in any shape or form but you are going to need a child's tiny hands to access the relevant wiring switch. Mine was tucked right underneath the coolant tank and it took me a while to find the blighter and there was no give in it at all. After losing a few layers of skin, lots and lots of swearing, and straddling the bike whilst holding a pair of pliers in one hand to hold the female clip whilst I tried to locate the male into it, I got it. But it wasn't easy.

Works like a charm though once fitted.

Same thing happened on our bike (2006 K6), but after lifting the tank we managed to cut a large cable-tie to free the cable harness and used long-nosed pliers to insert the connector.

Bigpie, thanks for the DM reply, and I’m looking forward to a speedy resolution to my current (no pun intended) electrical plans!
Quiet applause will do.

My Bigpie box has just arrived and my setup seems to be a little different to the instruction photos, so before I started messing with it I thought I'd check here.

The location pictured in the fitting instructions for the rear brake connector doesn't seem to match my bike (2022 650 XT). There is no orange connector in the side panel (top pic), and the only one resembling it is located down below and in front of the fuse box, almost under the coolant (bottom pic). Mine seems to match the instructions for the older models, so wondering if Suzuki moved the location again.

Can anyone confirm to me where I should connect the aux fusebox loom? Ta!

It's where the first photo is, check behind the rubber. It'll be there somewhere.

Hi I’m new to the forum and so don’t know how this all works but I’d love to get hold of one of fuse boxes. I’m in Sheffield so could pick one up if that’s easier for you let me know how to complete the purchase
Thanks Carl

I bought mine from Bigpie's website, very simple. Haven't fitted it yet.

Finally got some time to hook up the fuse box and attach some spotlights to the Strom, so all that's attached to the batter is this box and an Oxford Oximiser. All working perfectly! Sits very nicely in front of the battery too under the little strap.

I'm now wondering about fitting front/rear cameras and notice that a lot seem to come with red/black wires for the battery and another wire for splicing into an acc line. Since I now have this box, which is on a switched live, I therefore have no need to use the acc line, can anyone tell me if I can attach that wire into the box too?
