Thanks for all the advice me knowledge over the last few weeks since I joined. Just been and purchased a 2014 1000 and on way home with it now..

Yeah.. looking forward to it.. feel bad about letting the Varadero go, but been finding it a bit disconcerting with its top heavyness compared to the V-strom..

Will be August before I can ride it as working away and a couple of jobs to do.. rear yes is a little low, so may bang a pair of tyres on it..  little bit of flakey paint on the rear subframe etc... Little things.. but sensible price even though it's a 600 mile round trip to get it . Ha ha ha nice day out in Scotland though..

To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.
