just wondering what revs should be on tick over. ( its the 1000 engine)
mine is about 800rpm, and seems as if it may be sruggling a bit.
would appreciate any input thanks :?

The book says 1200  +/- 100 rpm. Mine is set at 1200rpm and runs fine.

1200 sounds about right - on the 650 the adjusting screw is below the tank on the lhs, with a Pozidriv head. 800 probably does sound a bit lumpy.

For those that don't know there is a copy of the 650 and 1000 manual on line.  I know its the K2 model but most of it is still applicable to the later bikes.

If you do a search for DL650K4_svc_man.pdf you'll find the later service manual, 20mb.
I also found the parts fiche DL650K4_parts.pdf, 7mb.
