Mr Nick, a few years later we hired a large Motor Home in Galgary and drove to Banff , then up to the north of Jasper for three days, then back again. All the campsites on that trip were fenced off with gates you could get through into the 'wilderness' .... and the Bears!!
The best experience I had in Canada was a Dogsled trip in Algonquin Park, four days/nights out in the snow down to -20* at night, slept in large pre- erected 'tents'. Never felt cold. Driving the sled was bloody hard work and kept you warm during the day, then the proper gear at night did the same.
Heard Wolves howling on that trip!

I told the doctor that sometimes I feel like a Vango and at others I feel like a Eurohike.
He said I was too tense

Correction, camping isn't just for middle classes.
Royalty too, going way back.

Now we are talking. :text-goodpost:
To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.

To round out this thread the 300 Banshee is quite a bit larger than the 200.
Far more room side to side so I don't need to cuddle my bike gear or risk stacking it up and shoving it back when it falls over on me.

I can also report I can sit up without pressing the inner to the outer! (I'm 6ft so not mega tall)

This was my main issue with the 200. If it rains I can't sit up in the 200. OK I usually have an adventure tarp, but if the rain is coming in sideways that's not much good.

Will I sell the 200? Not really, it has a purpose and I paid sod all for it.

So all in all yeah the 300 for me is an improvement over the 200. All I need to do is find a footprint for it now.
