'ello me 'andsomes
« on: July 23, 2015, 16:25:02 »
Salutations to you all from sunny Somerset (Yeovil to be precise)

Passed the old mod2 today, 2 months after I ballsed the first one up (cheers Dorset council for changing straight on at that roundabout to the right hand lane) :wtf:

Went to do the 2nd one a month ago, got there and the examiner rode out and said the radios weren't working and had to go to Taunton for a replacement :violence-smack:

Anyway all done and dusted, off to pick up my xj600 which has been in my mates garage for the last 2 months, going to ride that til spring to get me pecker up to speed then vstrom here I come.

Been lurking for a while and it's refreshing to read such a laid back forum, complete lack of keyboard warriors, especially love the quotes museum.

Anyway *raises glass* here's to many years of biking and hope I'll meet a few of you on the ride.

Btw I'm 42.  :old:

Hi, the other half is from your side of the line so I class myself as dual nationality.

Greetings from the far north east (of Essex)
:welcome2:

So, you say you are 42 .... Bragging? ( According the Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy "42 is the answer to life, the universe and everything").

I'm 67  :old:  and I've forgotten more than I ever knew, so I have to make stuff up.

Hmmm not sure about the 42 thing,

I've found that cider is pretty much the answer to life, universe etc

Oh and talking bollocks to anyone who'll listen.

Somerset cider is the answer to many questions including (but not limited to):
- where did Thursday go?
- why are my pants on my head and
- who am I?

I've got a '95 XJ600 as well. Cracking little bike.

Hope you enjoy your motorcycling as much as I have over the years
