JCE exhaust cans............
« on: February 18, 2011, 19:02:13 »
I splashed out recently on a pair of these Titanium and Carbon cans from a seller on Ebay and the quality of the cans is second to none. They cost £350 but were well worth it. The service from the seller was first class to the point where being a bit of a perfectionist I pointed out a very small issue with one stainless bottom end cap. The bloke immediately sent me £30 which was £10 to send it back for replacement and £20 as a gesture of goodwill. Beat that for service!

Look fantastic, do they do a version for the wee? And does it alter fuelling etc?

Don't know about a Wee version though I am sure they would try to accommodate a request. The boss, Aitch, is a really helpful bloke, drop him a line at jcexhausts@aol.com  and he would answer your question mate. As far as the fuelling goes my mechanic mate says there is no need to do anything as the lambda sensor takes care of any fuelling alterations automatically   Have no reason to disbelieve him

They look a lot like Scorpion cans, but then, so does a lot of other brands (or maybe the Scorpions look like others...) I bet they sound good, they look very open from the rear. It also looks like the left can is higher than the right one. Looks like a very good price to me.

thanks Edd
don't quite know how I missed this thread

as a rule no remapping is required on any of the fuel injected bikes and older carb models may need adjustment but shouldn't need re-jetting, keeping baffles in reduces power gains but back pressure is closer to stock

I'm sure I could sdo something for the wee if I can get my hands on a stock system for a few days to jig up for it

the outlets are a bought in iutem used by a few manufacturers and is a well coppied product not sure if its the same as scorpion though ??
the packing in my cans is acoustafill ecl glass as used by the top end (expensive) manufacturers and for v twins the perf is wrapped with stainless wool first to prevent blow out of the acoustic media, we can also do full carbon fibre for v-twins as our carbon is cured under pressure and is foil lined,

I have just spend a very large amount of money to produce a tool for tri oval outlets

these are available with a titanium body or in full carbon now

if there is enough interest here I could organise some kind of a discount for forum members
and add a page to my web site with offers and buy now links for you

edd3647;

Lovely looking 'JCE' pipes! The carbon tail tips really set them off.

Do they come with removable baffles??

Not so good, I can't complain about the service I got from Aitch he replied to my email enquiry pretty quickly and I had the exhausts within a couple of weeks.

Just search youtube for others.

They are fantastic cans for the money , better than Akras I think...

How is it that there are a million ( wee bit of exaggeration there   ) exhausts available for the Vee but so few for the Wee? And the price, a pair of lovely cans for £350 when a single pipe of the few available would cost that.
Surely there's more Wees than Vees, I no understand Mr Faulty.

I don't get it either. There's a big market out there for cans for the twin spark Wee's. Yet I only know two manufacturers for them.
Its the one thing I dislike about the Wee from 07 onwards..... the fact that you can't just put a slip on can on it.
