RST wax denim jeans
« on: August 02, 2014, 17:16:56 »
Just thought I'd post a review about these jeans I purchased a couple of weeks ago.
I wanted something lighter than my hefty textile trousers and saw these.
They are good quality for a the price and very comfy.
I did have my doubts about the knee pads because walking around they are quite low down but as soon as you get on the bike they sit very well.
They feel heavy compared to fashion jeans as they are reinforced with 'kevlar' around the sides and thighs.
Over 390 miles, only the last 40 were in wet weather and the jeans held up well. No damp patches even going through downpours on the motorway.
£90 from my local dealer but they are available cheaper online. I just wanted to try them on first.
Overall for the cheaper end of the market I'd recommend them.

I bought the Camo ones for out here in the furnace  :))) Not sure about the waterproof side of things as it doesn't rain that often but in the heat they are very comfortable. :thumb:
