DL250 Hand Guards Install
« on: April 04, 2020, 16:36:29 »
Hi everyone, I’ve got some official Suzuki hand guards for my DL250. Has anyone installed these themselves? If so, is it quite straight forward and is there anything I should watch out for.

Thanks in advance.

The hand guard installation appears to be the same / similar to that of the Glee (DL650 2012 +). Perhaps the pix from this thread, https://www.v-strom.co.uk/smf/index.php?topic=37397.0, may be of assistance / help guide with the installation? Were there no instructions on how to install?

My first tip would be: Don't take the screws out of the bar ends! Loosen them the bare minimum needed to allow you to remove the whole assembly in one lump. That will save time and frustration.

Yes there are instructions but often there is a snippet of useful info to be gleaned from those that have done it. I’ll have a look at the link. Thanks.
