Beowulf Exhausts - now with video!
« on: May 08, 2009, 08:13:15 »
Just arrived!

Will get them fitted over the weekend and post pics

They have a removable baffle, but judging by the fact that I can see straight through the silencer doesn't hold out much luck of them actually doing much to lessen the volume!

 :thumb:

Side note: The lady at Beowulf was very polite and was a pleasure dealing with them!

Note - they do come with 'BEOWULF' in black written on one side, but I preferred them not showing,so I just swapped sides so they sticker's on the inside edge

I paid £300 but I think someone made a mistake!

The day after I ordered them, they move them to the second or third page of products - I think they'd been put on the site at the wrong price!

I paid £300 incl. delivery, but they're now listed at £390 (excl delivery):
http://beowulf-performance-products.com ... &catid=264

But they have standard outlet cans for £290 still:

They're much lighter than the stock - I don't know exact figures.

They were super easy to fit and no, I've not remapped or done anything. Beowulf do say that nothing is required, but to be honest, it might benefit from it - that said it seem to be running fine.

I know I was lucky in benefitting from their mistake, but Hello, even the £290 ones with standard outlets look pretty nice!

Yeah - for me they're great - not silly loud but a nice proper V-Twin note - and that's with the baffles in

Loud enough for them to know when you're leaving and coming home, but (hopefully) not loud enough to have them come knocking on your door to complain
