I am selling my 2006 1000 Strom which I've had from new - only because I am going off travelling for a while.
It has done 17,000 miles and has all the GT gear I.e;
Heated grips
Handguards
Centre stand
Suzuki luggage
Engine bars fitted and included.
It has always been garaged and is in great condition apart from a few tiny marks on the paintwork where some clumsy clutch reservoir refill work caused hydraulic fluid to be splashed on it.
Full service history, last one only a few hundred miles ago, tyres (Pilots) have plenty of life left in them, 6+ months MOT, so she's ready to roll and conquer Europe.
£3250 - you are welcome to come and have a look, a cup of tea and a natter etc......

Phil, this won't make you feel any better, but I forgot to mention that a new chain/sprocket set was fitted at the last service, so they have done about 600 miles.

Ah well, eBay/Autotrader/Gumtree/local rag etc beckon....

I'm new to the forum and having just sold a VFR 800 am after a 1000 V-strom.

Do you have any pictures of the bike? I've looked at a couple already and definitely think it's the bike for me, just need to find the right example :-)

Funny, that's exactly what I did, went from a VFR800 to the Strom, and never regretted it, fine bike though the Viffer is. I am being lazy about posting pics but will get that sorted in the next couple of days. Even better, as you are only in the next county to me, I am quite happy to ride the bike over to yours so you can see it for yourself, if that suits you?
