Whilst looking at my bike to change the Oxford heated grips, I noticed this Dow the back of the oil cooler rad. Anyone tell me what it is and where it goes? It was oily and dirty now cleaned up.

That's the dust boot seal that goes behind the clutch slave cylinder, it should be between the clutch piston and the front sprocket cover to prevent chain gunk etc getting into the clutch slave piston.

Many thanks saves a lot of head scratching. Previous owner has changed the sprockets and chain. I can only assume it dropped out of sight whilst doing them and was forgotten.
